Frequently Asked Questions
What does TNT mean?
TNT stands for Torque 'N Touch: mechanical judgment and careful hands-on vehicle care under one name.
Who performs the work?
TNT is owner-operated by Zack C. Customers communicate directly with him about accepted work.
Where do you provide mobile service?
TNT serves Augusta, Martinez, Evans, Grovetown, Harlem, Thomson, North Augusta, and nearby CSRA communities when the location and requested work are suitable.
What are the travel fees?
No travel fee applies within Augusta, Evans, Martinez, Grovetown, Harlem. Outside those work areas, the travel fee is $15 for the first 25 miles, plus $3.50 for each additional mile beyond 25. Distance outside the work area and the total travel fee are confirmed in your written quote before booking.
What does service cost?
Current starting prices are published on the Pricing page. Your written quote accounts for the vehicle, condition, parts, add-ons, access, taxes, and travel.
Is a request a confirmed appointment?
No. TNT reviews service fit, location, scope, availability, and price. The appointment is confirmed only after those details are agreed.
How quickly will TNT respond?
TNT aims to review requests within 30 minutes while actively accepting appointments. Complex quotes or after-hours requests may take longer.
What are TNT's service hours?
Appointment availability varies by service, location, and current schedule. Send a request or call for the available appointment windows; TNT does not promise 24/7 or same-day service on this site.
How do I reschedule or cancel?
Call or text TNT as soon as possible. A requested change is complete only after TNT confirms the new plan; any job-specific scheduling term is disclosed before the appointment is accepted.
Do I need water or power for detailing?
Requirements depend on the selected service and equipment. TNT confirms any required utilities before the appointment.
Do I need to prepare the vehicle?
Remove valuables and provide safe access. For detailing, do not hide the condition; honest photos help. Mechanical work needs a safe, legal, reasonably level work area.
Can every repair be completed mobile?
No. Some work requires shop equipment, controlled conditions, programming, extensive teardown, or a safer location.
Does a trouble code identify the failed part?
Not by itself. A code identifies a detected condition or circuit; testing and vehicle context support the repair decision.
What warranty applies?
Applicable mechanical workmanship is covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles unless the written service record states different terms. Other services and products may differ.
Can every stain, odor, or scratch be removed?
No. The source, material, depth, age, previous work, and permanent damage determine what can be improved safely.
