Battery, Starter & Charging Service

A no-start does not automatically mean the battery is bad.

Battery, starting, and charging testing starts at $95. Battery replacement labor starts at $75; starter and alternator replacement labor starts at $150. Parts, fitment hardware, taxes, and programming are separate.

Test Before Replacing

Repeated discharge, clicking, slow cranking, dimming lights, and jump-start dependence can overlap across the battery, terminals, cables, starter, charging system, and vehicle electrical loads. Testing helps avoid replacing the first plausible component.

Parts and Warranty

TNT confirms the required part and fitment before installation. Customer-supplied parts remain covered by their supplier or manufacturer, not TNT's parts warranty. Any applicable TNT workmanship coverage is documented with the approved job.

Battery cores and old components are handled according to the approved estimate and supplier requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a bad alternator kill a new battery?

A charging fault can leave a battery undercharged, so repeated discharge should be investigated.

What if it cranks normally but does not start?

That points beyond a basic battery/starter complaint and should begin with no-start diagnostics.

Can you replace it during the same visit?

That depends on test results, part availability, vehicle access, schedule, and mobile-service suitability.
